Does US govt realize how dangerous is Soccer for US policy in Iraq?

Soccer can fuel nationalism on Iraqis, that is the last thing USA needs, in fact is the policy of Mqtada al -Sadr ,that firebrand shiite cleric, he is trying to unite Iraqis of all sects .In his meetings he uses Iraqi flags , not shiite flags, this goes in opposition of US strategy of spliting Iraq into 3 countries.

Yesterday , after the triumph of the Iraqi soccer Team at the Assian cup, there were no bombings, do you understand how bad this is?

There were no bombings, but how about the shooting to cele brate?
Give it a break man. The Asian Cup win was good for the country. Leave it at that.
This is the thing that the US needs. If the Iraqis can see they can work together, then the US can leave. Yay.
I can't tell if you are trying to be sarcastic or if you are just ignorant... or both... please review our country's objectives for the conflict in Iraq...
You have it wrong my friend, the U.S. strategy is to unite the country under democratic representation for all but not split it into three countries. Sadr is killing those non-shiites and wants one country under his rules sharing his beliefs only and if he gets it will kill anyone opposing him. As for soccer I think it is great that all Iraqi citizens have at least one thing they can celebrate together but it will neither unite the politics of the nation or do it harm. It does provide some national pride and that is a beginnning.
Yet, after Iraq made it into the finals, there were two suicide bombs. There may not have been bombings yesterday, but 3 people died because Iraqis were shooting guns in the air in celebration. So don't think for one minute that they'll love each other over soccer, but wouldn't it be nice if something so simple could unite them?
WOW! Where to begin? First of all, we are still there in Iraq because they are NOT unified and are all vying for power, causing chaos! If they unified, all the more better for the US and we can come home, mission accomplished!
